Making Salves with the LEVO Oil Infuser

As a small business owner and herbal product maker, the infusion process for my salves, balms, and soaps can be rather time-consuming waiting four to six weeks to prepare products.

Finding out about LEVO was the greatest time-saver I could have asked for! (not sponsored + purchased with my own money)

All herbs and florals are grown here out of my mini backyard garden from seed and are hand-collected, dried, and infused into botanicals. This allows all the constituents from the herbs to draw out into the oils making them incredibly potent with skin-loving ingredients. The infusions are then combined with beeswax and butters by melting them down into what become Dancing Bee Blends!

The LEVO oil infuser allows for quick and easy infusion of oils, honey, syrups, and more, most commonly used for cooking, but has made its mark on the herbal community!

Have you ever made tea or drank pickle juice!? Both are results of infusions. A huge component of herbalism is creating infusions which is the magical word for saying extracting beneficial and medicinal constituents from herbs into water, alcohol, or oil.

Our soaps and salves use the oil extraction method. Though many herbalists are partial to the traditional way of infusing herbs in oil for four to six weeks, it can be time consuming. Using the LEVO oil infuser has been a time saver in making products for Dancing Bee Blends.

Check out the full process of how I use to infuse herbs and how now I’m able to speed up the process. In just a few hours, I have my herbal salves all prepared and fully stocked in my shop :)
